Description

EdgeChem Flat Lacquer is a nitrocellulose-based lacquer designed for interior use on wooden surfaces where a matte finish is required. It is formulated to provide a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish on interior wood surfaces and furniture products.

Coverage Rate

• Approximately 350 square feet per gallon.

Suggested Uses

• For use on interior wooden surfaces and furniture products.

Surface Preparation

• The surface must be dry and free of grease, oil, and dirt.
• The moisture content of wood should be below 8% RH.
• Use over wood products that have previously been sealed with Sanding Sealer and sanded to a very smooth finish (400-600 grit sandpaper).
• Badly damaged or poor surfaces must be stripped to bare wood and treated as new.

Application

• Reduce two (2) parts EdgeChem Flat Lacquer to one (1) part EdgeChem Lacquer Thinner.
• Apply 2-3 coats of the mixture at 40-50 psi.
• Recoat at intervals of 10 minutes to an hour, depending on climatic conditions.
• To prevent blushing associated with high humidity, use EdgeChem Retarder Solvent as directed.

Clean Up

• Clean up using EdgeChem Lacquer Thinner immediately after use.
