Suggested Uses

• For interior/exterior use on wood surfaces such as decks, railings, equipment, doors, porches, window sills, and furniture where a matte finish is required.

Surface Preparation

For Previously Painted Surfaces in Good Condition:

• Sand well with 180 grit sandpaper and remove all traces of dust before applying varnish.

For Surfaces in Poor Condition:

• Remove all loose and peeling paint, then treat as for natural wood.

For Natural Wood:

• Sand with 80 grit sandpaper and wipe free of dust with EdgeChem Oil Paint Reducer.

Application

• Apply a sealer coat of varnish (reduce 10% with Oil Paint Reducer), then apply full body allowing 15-18 hours between coats, sanding with 220 grit sandpaper between coats. Thin only if necessary with EdgeChem Oil Paint Reducer. Do not exceed 10% by volume.

Shelf Life

Clean Up

• Clean up with EdgeChem Oil Paint Reducer immediately after use.
