Description

Edgechem Edgecolac Chinese Lacquer is a tough, high gloss medium/long oil alkyd maintenance enamel. It is suitable for interior and exterior use on metal and wood. Edgecolac Chinese lacquer is free of lead, chromate, and other toxic heavy metals, making it suitable for use on cribs, toys, and children’s furniture.

• Flash Point: 25-28°C (based on major solvent component)

• Coverage: 380-400 sq.ft.

Coverage Rate:

380 to 400 square feet per gallon.

Drying Time:

• Dust Free: 10-15 minutes
• Tack Free: 30-45 minutes
• Dry to Handle: 4 hours
• Hard dry: 24 hours
• Recoat time: 12 hours

Suggested Uses:

For use on steel, masonry, wood, galvanized steel, and aluminum.

Surface Preparation:

Clean the surface free of dirt, oil, flakes, or loose paint. Galvanized steel and aluminum must be primed with an etching or epoxy primer. For wood and masonry, sand using 180 grit sandpaper, remove dust and flakes. Reduce with Oil Paint Thinner if necessary.

Application:

Spray or brush 2 coats allowing 5 minutes for flash off between coats. Spraying pressure is 35-40 psi.
