EdgeChem Wood and Shingle Stain is a high-quality, transparent, long-lasting stain formulated with Modified Linseed Oil. It penetrates deep into the wood, enhancing the natural texture and grain while providing protection and beautification for both interior and exterior wooden substrates. This low-odor stain is ideal for use on shingle, cedar, pine, mahogany, and other wood types, ensuring a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.

Coverage Rate

• Approximately 85-300 square feet per gallon @ 6mils WFT, depending on surface porosity/irregularity and method of application.

Suggested Uses

• Recommended for properly prepared wooden substrates such as mahogany, cedar, redwood, and shingle.

Surface Preparation

• The surface must be thoroughly dry, clean, and free from contaminants such as dirt, grease, wax, mildew, and loose paint.
• Sand the surface to a smooth, level finish before application.

Application

• Apply 2 full and even coats with a brush or roller @ 6mils WFT/coat.
• Allow the first coat to dry for approximately 24 hours before applying the second coat.
• Ready to use (NO reduction necessary).

• Clean brushes and rollers immediately with EdgeChem Oil Paint Reducer after use.
